The Sabine River Authority of Texas is charged with conserving, storing, and protecting the waters of the Sabine River Basin in Texas, including protecting the plants and animals dependent on the waters of the Sabine.  As a serious steward of the Sabine River Basin, it has been active for many years as a leader in conservation in the Sabine Basin and for the State of Texas.
