As a major provider of raw water for municipal use, SRA-TX has been pro-active since the 1960's in water quality monitoring, aquatic plant management, pollution prevention and investigation, participation with Texas State water quality programs, and coordination with State and Federal Agencies to maintain water quality in the Sabine River Basin.
