The Sabinetown Recreation Area is located at 712 Vantage Point, Hemphill TX 75948, at the mouth of the popular Palo Gaucho Bayou on Toledo Bend Reservoir. This world class fishing tournament facility offers public restrooms, a large pavilion, a 6-lane boat ramp in a deep water cove, 2 floating docks, and asphalt parking for over 250 trucks/trailers. The facility was constructed to provide recreational lake access and to accommodate regional fishing tournaments and Professional fishing events.
From Hemphill: take FM 83 East 4.9 miles to North Bayou Rd. Turn left and travel 1.8 miles to Bayou Fork Rd. Veer left and go 1 mile to Vantage Pt. Turn left on Vantage Pt. and travel 0.6 miles to the entrance of Sabinetown Recreation Area on your right.
