FLOOD INFRASTRUCTURE FUND PROJECT #40072
SABINE RIVER BASIN GAGES
The Sabine River Authority (SRA) will hold a public hearing at 5:00 p.m. on June 17, 2024, at 12777 State Hwy 87, Orange, Texas regarding the use SRA’s Flood Infrastructure Funding (FIF) through the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) under Project 40072. The number and location of gages, costs of the project, and the use/availability of data gathered by the gages will be discussed.
The purpose of this meeting is to allow citizens an opportunity to provide input regarding the objectives of the project, use of funds, and access to data. Persons with disabilities that wish to attend this meeting should contact the SRA to arrange for assistance. Individuals who require auxiliary aids or services for this meeting should contact SRA at least two days before the meeting so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
SRA encourages citizens to continue to participate in the development of this TWDB project and to make their views known at this public hearing. Written and oral comments will be received at the meeting. Citizens unable to attend this meeting may submit their views and proposals to Mark Mann, P.E., Director of Engineering Services, by mail at P. O.
