Spillway Channel Area is located immediately downstream of the Iron Bridge Dam (Lake Tawakoni Reservoir). The recreation area has two pavilions, grills and shoreline to fish. There are no usage fees.
From Wills Point: take 47 north and the recreation area is on the right before the HWY 47 spillway bridge.
From Emory: take 47 south and the recreation area is on the left just after crossing the HWY 47 spillway bridge.
